Tina Fey's hat as seen on 30 rock
I remember seeing Liz Lemon wearing the coolest greet beanie and I am SO happy that I finally found a pattern to make it!!!!
However, I changed the pattern a little bit so that it would resemble more of liz lemon’s hat rather that a slouchy hat.
-I knit it with 2 strands to make it bulky
-I started to decrease after 4.75” of the total hat length so as to not make it slouchy
-I also shortened the decrease rows.
If you’re interested in any more details, then please let me know =)
Pattern by Sarah Moore
Additional info can be found on my ravelry project page
Overall, this was a great pattern!

Practicing for round 2 of MSCED

Restart.
The end of the semester is approaching and I'm feeling relieved. This semester has been the worst experiences of my life. So much that I'm considering changing my major from computer science to whatever the hell doesn't suck as much. I think for now I have convinced myself to go part time for a semester until I can regain my life back.
I've completely dropped the ball on anything creative in my life. I fell through on my "Make Something Cool Everyday" project. I hope to restart this in 2011 and actually finished it from start to end.
Over the break I plan on doing my zombie zine, stop motion claymation and my zombie bag. OOH and I want to stencil a pacman and ghost onto my blue hoodie. Complete geekiness.
That's it for now.

The Hat Anne Hathaway wore in "Love & Other Drugs"
I just got back from watching “Love & Other Drugs” and Anne Hathaway wore the cutest hat in the movie. It was blue and white. My friend best described the hat as “busy” I drew a crappy picture but I’m sure it’s more pathetic than descriptive.
If you’ve seen the movie tell me what you think. Do you know of any similar patterns? I think I might just have to try and write one up…

noro neckwrap
I've long lusted after Noro yarn. It's sooo expensive but gorgeous! Finally I broke down and grabbed a skein. I had to make sure my project would show how great this yarn truly is and I think I picked a great one! This pattern is called Boneyard shawl and is available on ravelry by Stephen West

Dead Morning Part 2
With unknowing courage I leap to my feet
To look through the window though I know what I’ll see
Despite what I knew the image still terrifies
Outside the dead walk! as though they were alive!
Their rotting flesh drips from their hunched frame
And blood rolls down their mouth with pieces of brain
They are all disfigured in their own unique disgrace
Yet share the same desire of eating my face.

Dead morning part 1
A zombie story...part 1
My breath leaves me, I sharply awake,
The harmonic screams leave me in a panicked shake
My mind searches...I need to focus! To grasp this!
To find just one moment of complete and utter absence,
The screams I hear are solid with fright,
And slowly thin out as I hear a loud rip and a bite
It soon becomes replaced with a low moaning groan
I undoubtably feel that outside death roams
TO BE CONTINUED...

update
Well I have been terrible with updating this thing. To be honest I don't think anyone really reads this thing and all I have to say are complaints so I'd just rather say nothing.
1/4 of the year is over and I have produced somewhat consistent posts for my MAKE SOMETHING COOL EVERYDAY project and 365 Sketch a day. As of now my brain is zapped. I have no ideas that i am capable of following through on. I enjoy drawing but it is not an easy task for me. It takes me hours upon hours to complete a "simple" drawing. I have done several pictures that I'm actually happy with. I still feel like I am out of place every time i draw/paint etc. hmm..
"am i cool now?"
"flower girl"
"finally a guy interested in my brain"
"i'm tired of thinking"
"zombie:a self portrait"
I think I am going to force myself to work forward. I've been talking about making a claymation for some time now. I think sunday I may attempt to tackle this project. I've never done a claymation before so I think it's probably going to be pretty awful!! oh wow...
I also have a very large drawing that I would like to get started. I designed the main character today and I think it may work. Maybe that will be tomorrows goal?
AND I still have a few more photos that I need to get the scenes set up for. It is going to involve me creating some props from yarn. I need to get on that...
HEY here's a fantastic song to enjoy/like.
