Officially my FIRST stencil =D I thought I would decorate my sketchbook. I wanted to incorporate the elastic and I am quite pleased with the results. I am always very nervous about dealing with paint but since this wasn't a complete failure I feel like I may try more projects with paint.

also I am proud to say that I have completed one FULL month of posts for my MAKE SOMETHING COOL EVERYDAY. I'm not going to lie, it's been tough mainly because I'm just SO lazy! okay just 11 more months to go...

reconstructed purse

I bought this pillow from IKEA a few years ago because I loved the fabric. I had since then wanted to make it into a purse. I don't know why it took me SO long to actually make it =) But I'm glad it's done!

I did not use a pattern for the purse I just kind of made it up. It was a huge pain. maybe next time I will use a pattern?

I'm tired of not eating a decent lunch at work. My mom gave me this "oklahoma census" lunch bag and I decided to dress it up a bit. I'm a little obsessed with Edgar Allan Poe and thought it would go well on my lunch bag. my sandwich is made and ready to be toted to work tomorrow in my new lunch bag!
